Father and Son

Haha. To start off my father went to jail for eighteen years 6 weeks after I was born. Not because he was bad guy or murderer or anything like that, simply because he chose to hang around with bad company. The story as to why he went to jail is entirely too long to portray on this blog and even still I dont even understand the full aspect of the story either, so same boat as you fellow reader with about one extra paddle. Back on topic despite him being in jail I still retain a relationship with my father. He is an essential part of my life and our communication keeps us in touch. I know he regrets his decision every single day, but I hope he has found a way to forgive himself because I was never really mad at the guy. On the other hand, I have a step father, that I used to not get along with but recently we've been having a good relationship. I look at the him as my father because he actually did raise me, but naturally there is always some sort of separation especially since my little brother and sister are completely his children. Im not saying that is bad thing at all...again its only natural. Father and Son relationships are essential because Fathers need to share experiences and past mistakes with their sons so negative cycles dont end up repeating themselves. Its necessary to have someone who has already gone through some of the things that you are going through, especially someone older than you, to help you cope, and who better than a father figure.

How Do I Know What I Know?

I dont. I sit here and admit that I actually do not know that I know anything for certain. But what I do know is that I believe in some ideas that are presented to me that are generally accepted as facts. By human definition there is alot of things that I can claim to know, but there is always that .000001% chance that something could be completely wrong. So I dont believe that anyone can know anything for certain and no one ever did. The world is based on ideas that are accepted because of the percentage of time that they are right or if they fit what the majority of society wants to hear. As a race we always try to figure out the ultimate question as to why we are here or why we exist, and I simply dont think we can't find out until the idea presents itself to us and probably only then will we know things concretely, by returning to our roots.

The Purpose

Why are we here? What were we created for? What is the point of exsistence? These are only some of the questions that people ask themselves every single day. All around the world people try to reach a solution to these questions that plague the human race. From my interpertation we are here for the sole purpose of exsisting. I believe in a supreme being or force that actually did create everything, that being either energy or some sort of god , or omnicient being that defies everything that we were tauguht to learn. On the other hand I also believe that we are here to find out why we are here, not trying to find out the answer but actually just exisisting long enough until it naturally presents itself to us.In some way life is being monitered by some sort of being, be that nature or the energy that is all around us, and only those unseen forces hold the secret to why we are here and what our true purpose is. The simple thing that we have to do is accept the fact that we probably cant find the answer to such an absurd problem, just because by human definition we can never have 100% truth there is always a.001 chance of that error that we HAVE to account for so therefore we should let the answer present itself naturally. That is our purpose

God 2010

God in 2010. I feel God is interperted differently by each individual. I feel everyone holds thier own personal belief of God and apply it to thier lives differently. God is something that is intangible and that is not seen but heard. Therefore people can add thier own interpertations to what "God" means. Some people blame God for everything that happens and some people merely accept that it is God's will an event happenes. Some even have a mixture of the feelings. I personally feel that God is goodness I believe that there is ultimate good and evil in the world and God is the representation of good. There are various religions that believe in a supreme being, but I believe that its all essentially the same thing, a reason to live and explain the unexplained. It is fine to live like this but I feel there is no concrete evidence or knowledge that proves the exsistence of God. All in all God is a being that is necessary because it gives people a purpose to live. To find the answer

Candide MAAAAN

It is sad. It's sad that Candide is forced to live a life far from the truth based upon the incorrect teachings of Pangloss. He has been decieved and is also too naive to realize this. He has been "sent off" and the saddest part of it is that he still holds strongly to his beliefs even after he is punished unreasonably (being "flogged" by 2000 people). That is insane and no one in thier RIGHT mind would accept such an attrocious punishment. Candide is a prime example of purity and innocence and how the evil and ignorance of (others)man takes advantage of people who have these qualities.
